"Joyful Dogs has exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.  The puppy classes were small, so Helen was able to cover things which were important to each of us, making it fun and boosting our confidence with lots of reassurance and encouragement; completely approachable and making time to help us individually. Queenie quickly learnt how to relax and be polite around other dogs.  We have now been doing one to one training with Joy and benefitted from her calm, kind, professional approach and wealth of knowledge - the training activities and specific techniques have been so useful in helping Queenie’s engagement and development, and also enjoyable.  Most importantly, I am learning so much about body language, the way dogs communicate, and the best way to develop co-operation and understanding between us. As an experienced dog owner, I have discovered how much I didn't know! This Positive Reinforcement and “dog centred” training style has been so rewarding for both Queenie and myself, and I look forward to continuing working with Joy to build on this."
