“Mash”

Dannyelle at Joyful Dogs was amazing from even before our first session began. After a search on Google, Joyful Dogs’ website really stood out from the rest and we had confidence they would be able to help us with our miniature dachshund called Mash.
The 1 to 1 sessions were extremely helpful, we had Dannyelle come to our house to help us with the issues we were experiencing which included; excessive barking when someone is at the door, barking at visitors in the house, nervous behaviours on walks which would result in him barking/growling at people or wanting to chase runners and cyclists.
The sessions helped us understand why Mash was acting in certain ways in these circumstances and we began to use the training we had been given to help prevent them but by making Mash understand he didn’t need to feel nervous by making the situations he found uncomfortable a positive thing for him. By the third session Mash was full of confidence and he is like a different dog in the house and when out on walks. He took really well to Dannyelle and even tried to steal some treats!
We would definitely recommend Joyful Dogs to anyone experiencing the same problems, and with Mash being one of the more stubborn breeds it really does speak volumes on how good the 1 to 1 training is, our only regret is not doing this sooner!!
Thank you so much for all the help
