Solo Training Walks

Clifford

The Solo Training Walks with Katie have been wonderful with our anxious Bosnian rescue "Clifford".   He really struggles to trust people, but absolutely adores Katie and is so excited when she comes to the door. There is nobody else outside of me and my partner who has even come close to achieving this with him and we really value the bond she's built with him and appreciate the time and effort that this has taken.  Clifford isn't an easy dog to walk - having lived on the streets he is always on high alert and is reactive to other dogs. He becomes fixated on them and will then bark and lunge. Katie identified early on that he couldn't cope with small group dog walks, so we were delighted when she started offering solo training walks and agreed to take him on.  She has given us lots of help and advice on how to help him see dogs more neutrally, and also works with him on this during their sessions together. I'm now brave enough to take him to the park by myself again, rather than sticking to the deepest darkest woods!  Clifford also struggles with separation anxiety so it means the world to us to know he can trot out the door happy and secure with someone else - and we get a break too! We honestly couldn't recommend Katie's Solo Training Walks enough.
